# Broccoli AI vs Sameday: Pricing, Products and Which Shops Each Fits

Updated **October 2026**8 min readHVAC · Plumbing · Home Services

Quick Verdict

**Broccoli AI and Sameday both sell AI that answers, books and follows up for home service businesses, but they sell it differently.** Sameday publishes its prices, from $449 a month for 500 minutes, and covers a wider spread of trades and field service software. Broccoli keeps pricing behind a sales call, segments its customers by revenue from $2M up, and pairs a long lineup of named AI agents with a dedicated implementation team. A growing shop that wants to see the price first will find Sameday easier to evaluate. A larger ServiceTitan operation that wants a hands-on rollout should talk to both. A business that wants something built around it instead of a platform to run is covered at the end.

Key Takeaways

Broccoli AI is a Y Combinator company that raised a $25M Series A led by Khosla Ventures in July 2026. It sells a lineup of named AI agents for inbound calls, outbound sales, speed to lead and QA, and does not publish pricing. Sameday is an AI phone and front-office platform for the trades with published plans: Launch from $449 a month for 500 minutes and Scale from $789 a month for 1,000 minutes, with custom Enterprise pricing above that. Sameday lists more trades and more field service integrations; Broccoli leans upmarket with a dedicated implementation team. dolfyn is the custom-built alternative for businesses that want the agent built around them, from $179 a month.

## What each platform actually is

Broccoli AI calls itself an AI operating system for home service businesses. Its products cover inbound calls, outbound campaigns, speed to lead, QA and coaching, and AI chat and scheduling, delivered as a cast of named agents: an AI CSR that books jobs, an AI receptionist, a sales agent, an open-estimate specialist, appointment reminders, membership renewals and a job-completion agent, among others. It answers leads from Google LSA, Yelp, Angi, Thumbtack and Meta, and syncs calls and bookings into ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, AccuLynx and Salesforce. Its homepage groups customers into revenue tiers starting at $2M, and rollouts come with a dedicated implementation team and an AI strategy lead.

Sameday sells AI CSRs on top of its own phone system, so it answers every call, including after hours, and books into the schedule. Around that sit a scheduling tool, outbound campaigns such as customer reactivation, agents that follow up on estimates, request reviews and fill open slots, and Coach, which scores calls against your playbook and coaches each rep. Your human team works inside the same system with seats and in-app calling, and can hand a live call to the AI. Sameday says anything sensitive waits for your approval before it goes out.

The shared DNA
Both are platforms your team adopts and operates: an AI layer for inbound, outbound and call coaching, built around field service software and the lead sources trades businesses already pay for.

## Where Broccoli and Sameday differ

**Who they sell to.** Broccoli is built and priced for established operators, with revenue tiers from $2M up to its largest enterprise accounts and a hands-on implementation team. Sameday says nearly 2,000 service businesses run on it and lists plans with unlimited users and up to three locations on the entry tier, which puts it within reach of smaller shops.

**Trades and software.** Sameday lists more trades, including commercial cleaning, window cleaning, locksmiths and landscaping alongside HVAC, plumbing, roofing and pest control, and more field service integrations: ServiceTitan as a certified app, Housecall Pro, FieldRoutes as an official partner, AccuLynx, JobNimbus, Maid Central and Service Fusion. Broccoli names ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, AccuLynx and Salesforce, and offers custom integrations.

**How the product is shaped.** Broccoli goes wide on separate agents you switch on for specific jobs, which suits a shop that wants AI pushing outbound revenue. Sameday is closer to a contact center with AI built in: a phone system, queues, human seats and AI that can take a call off a person's hands.

## Pricing

This is the clearest difference. Sameday publishes its prices. When we checked in October 2026, Launch started at $449 a month with 500 minutes, Scale started at $789 a month with 1,000 minutes and added unlimited locations and voice cloning, and Enterprise was custom, adding multilingual voices, analytics, API access and custom integrations. The page does not say what happens after the included minutes are used.

Broccoli does not publish pricing, and its pricing page returned a 404 when we checked in October 2026. A competitor's August 2026 write-up, based on quotes customers shared, put Broccoli's entry plan at about $950 a month for 1,000 minutes and its mid plan at about $1,950 a month for 2,400 minutes, with $0.80 to $0.90 per extra minute and 6-month terms that auto-renew. Those numbers may have moved, but they show the scale of spend.

At 1,000 minutes a month, that puts Sameday's Scale plan at $789 against roughly $950 for Broccoli. Both are minute-based, so a heat wave or a storm week costs more on either. dolfyn starts at $179 a month, scoped to your call volume before you go live, month to month.

We have seen the Broccoli side of this directly. One dolfyn client came to us from Broccoli. The pricing structure ran higher than they expected for what they were actually using, so we built them a custom plan around the parts of the job they needed.

If you run a ServiceTitan shop doing several million a year and want AI working outbound revenue with a team to roll it out, Broccoli is the natural evaluation. If you want to see the price before a demo, run software like FieldRoutes, JobNimbus or Service Fusion, or want your CSRs and the AI working the same phone system, Sameday is easier to evaluate.

## The third option: custom instead of platform

Both of these are platforms. You get onboarded, your team learns the system, and you use the part of it your business needs.

dolfyn builds the agent from scratch for one business: your call flow, your emergency protocols, your intake questions, connected to the tools you already run, whether that is ServiceTitan, Jobber, Buildium, Monday.com or a spreadsheet. One client's build phones the on-call tech for after-hours emergencies and moves down the list until someone answers. Another writes maintenance requests straight into Buildium on the caller's own lease. If your operation needs several agents with department routing and outbound follow-ups, we build that too, and you pay for what your business uses.

Plans start at $179 a month, scoped to your call volume before you go live. Month to month, and the 2-week free trial runs on your real calls with no credit card. Real people review the calls every day.

The short version
Broccoli and Sameday are platforms you adopt. dolfyn is an agent built around you. Pick based on which of those your business needs.
